BSc Sport and Exercise Science
Starting Toby Hother Performance Coaching allowed me to apply my academic knowledge in a real-world performance setting. It gave me the opportunity to work with athletes and motivated individuals, delivering personalised, sport-specific programs focused on measurable results.
Through this, I’ve developed strong practical skills in assessment, program design, and long-term athlete development.
My Master’s degree in Applied Exercise Physiology refined my ability to apply science directly to performance. It deepened my understanding of advanced training methods, physiological adaptation, and performance optimisation across different populations.
This degree strengthened my skills in program design, data interpretation, and evidence-based decision making, allowing me to deliver highly targeted, personalised coaching for performance-focused goals.
My undergraduate degree in Sport Science built the foundation of my coaching career. It gave me a strong understanding of human movement, biomechanics, physiology, and training principles, alongside practical experience applying these concepts in real-world settings.
Through this degree, I developed the ability to analyse performance, interpret data, and make informed, evidence-based decisions when designing training programs.
